What is the Marketing Coordinator Program?
The VML Marketing Coordinator Program is a global community of approximately 400 professionals strategically positioned at the intersection of Microsoft Marketing and agency teams. Our purpose is to orchestrate seamless marketing campaigns that drive results.
We coordinate complex marketing campaigns across multiple stakeholders, including Microsoft internal teams, VML global Service Delivery Hub teams, and third-party agencies. These campaigns generate high-quality sales leads that Microsoft then scores and processes based on their sales strategy.
What will your day look like?
As a Marketing Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our client-facing operations. Your role bridges the gap between Microsoft stakeholders (Marketers) who initiate campaign requests, and the Microsoft Coordinator teams across Event, Commercial, Social and Data & Insights disciplines. You'll be instrumental in ensuring smooth communication, efficient project intake, and coordinated delivery across all aspects of our marketing initiatives. Your day will be filled with strategic planning, project coordination, and stakeholder management. You will act as the single point of contact for Microsoft Marketers, and you will support Marketers in developing integrated marketing plans, advise on marketing coordination Program processes and services, and coordinate delivery with all parties involved.
More specifically, your tasks will include:
- Developing integrated marketing demand generation plans and advise on global/local governance.
- Acting as single point of contact for Microsoft marketing projects execution and operational activities.
- Advising stakeholders on Marketing Coordination Program processes, tools, and services.
- Creating marketing projects and service requests using Microsoft intake tools.
- Develop project plans, coordinate execution, and deploy tracking tools to monitor progress.
- Ensuring measurement plans reflect reporting requirements and provide standard marketing measurement plans.
- Uploading business leads to Marketo and review performance dashboards for campaign insights.
- Identifying patterns, best practices, and efficiencies across marketing activities, incorporating past learnings into future planning.
Who are you going to work with?
In this role, you will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will interact with Microsoft marketers, VML global Service Delivery Hub teams, and third-party agencies. You will also collaborate with Event, Commercial, Social, and Data & Insights Marketing Coordinators within the Marketing Coordinator Program.
What do you bring to the table?
The ideal candidate for this role is a skilled project manager with a strong background in marketing execution. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You are detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You are also a strong relationship builder, able to work effectively with diverse internal and external partners.
In addition, you have:
- 2+ years of experience executing marketing-related B2B events.
- Strong experience in a client-facing project and/or account management role.
- High level of compliance with company rules & processes e.g. personal data protection or brand guidelines.
- Proven project management skills and experience readiness to assume responsibility for own KPIs, track activities progress and meet critical deadlines.
- Solid skills in Microsoft tools and software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and open to learn new project management/workflow tools
- Ability to communicate complex information in a structured way.
- Comfort in dealing with senior clients and third-party stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple events and activities, and to prioritize urgent and important tasks.
- Fluent English and Swedish.
