What will your day look like?

As our new Business Development Consultant, you will function as an internal business development & management consultant, driving key strategic projects that are essential to our agency's growth and innovation. You will be responsible for assessing, analyzing, and executing internal projects, using your consulting skills to ensure alignment with our organizational objectives. Your role will encompass the entire project lifecycle — from data capture and analysis to creating decision-making materials and executing initiatives. Whether you are working on short-term tasks or more extensive, long-term projects, your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously will be crucial.

More specifically, your tasks include:
• Leading and managing one or multiple projects focused on business development, innovation, and organizational growth
• Capturing and analyzing data to build conclusions and recommendations for potential solutions
• Scoping and building project plans for achieving objectives through effective project delivery
• Executing project plans across various business departments, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
• Managing stakeholder relationships to ensure successful project outcomes
• Ongoingly identifying potential for improvements and innovation across the organization
• Contributing to driving forward the overall project portfolio for business development (handling both short-term and long-term projects, balancing immediate needs with future growth goals)
• Production of communication material to ongoingly update stakeholders and senior leadership on project status, progress, conclusions etc.
• Supporting the execution of other projects in collaboration with colleagues in the Business Development team
• Ongoing support to the management on day-to-day strategic tasks

Who are you going to work with?

You will be an integral part of the Business Development team, working closely with the COO and other senior leaders across the organization. Your role will require you to collaborate with various departments across the MAP organization, and potentially also external partners or networks, to drive project success. You will both be working independently, but also be working together with multiple different specialists to ensure that their expertise is effectively utilized to enhance project outcomes. Your ability to manage diverse stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures will be key to your success.

What do you bring to the table?

You are a proactive and organized individual. Your background in a fast-paced environment has equipped you with strong consulting skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to develop pragmatic, actionable solutions. You are adept at project management, capable of leading projects independently and within a team, and you possess a deep understanding of business processes and strategic thinking. Your excellent communication skills and ability to think outside the box allow you to approach challenges holistically and drive impactful results.

In addition, you have:
• 1-4 years of experience in a consulting or business development role, ideally within a large consultancy or creative agency (or in an internal consulting team)
• Project management experience (independently or as part of a team)
• A strong understanding of business processes and strategic thinking
• The ability to translate business needs into concrete projects with clear objectives, deliverables, and success metrics
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and maintain robust relationships
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
